Position Summary

The Supervisor, Warehouse (Bilingual) is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety. This role requires managing warehouse staff, coordinating logistics, and communicating effectively in both German and English with team members, clients, and management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, motivate, and manage warehouse staff to achieve daily operational targets.

  • Monitor and coordinate all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and stock audits.

  • Resolve operational issues and provide guidance to warehouse personnel.

  • Support recruitment, training, and development of warehouse staff.

  • Communicate effectively in German and English with team members, clients, and management.

  • Prepare and submit reports on warehouse performance, productivity, and inventory status.

  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in warehouse supervision or team leadership (2–3 years preferred).

  • Bilingual proficiency in German and English (both written and spoken).

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.

  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead a diverse team.

  • Basic computer skills, including warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems.

  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings or weekends if required.
